Thoughtful Thursdays #17: Out to the coast

Welcome to the 17th of my Thoughtful Thursdays

What was I thinking about today?

I started with a flurry of emails connecting me with all sorts of projects and locations. There's a lot of forthcoming events and

Then it was out to the Norfolk coast for a walk. Living in Norfolk offers a lot of opportunities to engage with its dramatic landscape.

Over to Titchwell Marsh RSPB Reserve - this has been open for over 50 years, and I used to be a regular visitor when we lived in Snettisham (home to the Snettisham Spectacular). It was fairly busy. Walked through the reserve to the beach, which was bracing.
There was also a very friendly robin who serenaded us on arrival and departure.

Followed that with a short trip to Thornham and to the Lifeboat Inn. This is somewhere else I've been visiting for over 30 years, and which has gone through quite a lot of changes of ownership over the years.

Back to sort out some writing and prepare for the next few weeks, with a few Zoom calls.

I'm down to the Institute of Education just before half term to speak to the PGCE cohort as I have done regularly for many years.

Finished with some reading and preparing for tomorrow.
