We're asking young people to learn about one of the most daunting challenges humanity has ever faced - and then we're surprised when they're anxious.

When we talk about climate in schools, the instinct is to rush to solutions. But before students can engage meaningfully with action, they need somewhere to put their feelings - which might be fear, grief, overwhelm, anger, numbness or anything else.
