GridTown

Trevor Hinkle has produced a new game which he has shared via his LinkedIn account. It may be of interest to geographers and those who like incorporating games into their teaching.

Grid Town is a browser game where you manage a growing town’s electricity grid. Your goal: navigate the challenges of intermittency, household consumption patterns, and economic realities to run a thriving town entirely on carbon-free energy.

Trevor's ambition for Grid Town is twofold: to be a fun challenge you keep coming back to enjoy and to educate people on the energy transition via a simplified model of the grid.

You can play the game here: gridtowngame.com

Trevor welcomes feedback. Give it a go!
