Green Gent

One of my favourite cites to visit is Gent/Ghent in Belgium.

I like the fact that it is set up for cyclists, and has electric trams which are regular, efficient, punctual and cheap.

Green Gent involves a number of green axes.

The city has a lot of road and tram works... and has done for over a year.

A lot of work is going on to replace paving with other materials to make the city more like a sponge and absorbing rainfall.
