I've attended the GTE Conference frequently over the years, since 2009 when I first went along and presented while working for the GA.
January 2027 will see the next GTE Conference. It is being hosted by the University of Bristol.

The Geography Teacher Educators (GTE) Conference is being held at University of Bristol, Bristol from the afternoon of Friday 29th - Sunday 31st Jan 2027 at lunchtime. This is an in-person conference, so provides the opportunity for attendees to network and discuss ideas but does not include accommodation or the evening meals. The aim is to share best practice ideas and current research being done in geography education including masters level and other initiatives and project work, relevant to training geography teachers. As a civic university we are encouraging geography academics to share their research with the geography educator community We particularly welcome presentations from those new to their roles as geography educators, whilst also encouraging attendees keen to network and share ideas informally to attend.
Booking deadline: Thurs 10th Dec 26 (although early submissions welcome)
