A few days ago I posted some of the books on my shelves which are themed on ice and cold. I have quite a few, and plenty more which have the word 'Ice' in their title because they are part of my growing Icelandic library.
As the clouds have reappeared and the temperatures have dropped to comfortable levels, everyone's eyes are now turned to the skies and for hoped-for rain to replenish groundwater, increase river levels. We had a small bit of rain yesterday and have had several hours of fairly steady rain today - I even saw a puddle.
