'How to Live on Earth'

Reading in The Guardian today about a new film featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, launching on YouTube and called 'How to Live on Earth'.

It was reviewed here previously.

There's a few contradictions in the arguments.

So, he’s ditched veganism, but would he get a private jet? “No,” he says, but adds the caveat: “We just waste our energy if we’re naysaying and calling people hypocrites. The fashion industry is a bigger polluter than aviation, and the food industry massively. That’s all of us, that’s everyone. Not just movie stars."

But private jets are used by the largest polluters... they need to take greater responsibility. Their convenience is not an excuse.
